Together with their producer Matthew “Ditto” Depew, they hosted one of the longest running burlesque shows on the west coast. These two bearded kilt-wearing studs, with their unrestrained humor, are an absolute riot on stage and have been keeping the crowds in stitches ever since their first time at the Evergreen Tattoo Expo. Not only are they known for the Burlesque Show, they have also been pillars of their community, offering the homeless free haircuts for at the Eugene Mission, and spend their spare time helping with the Northwest Dog Project out of Eugene. Meet stars from TV’s Reality Series Ink Masters such as Joey Hamilton, Sausage, and other amazing local and international tattoo artists. I bought Reflex because it was mentioned as one of the new Arena FPS games that may or may not have a comeback soon.Īdults 18 years and older can purchase tattoos at the event! There will be food, alcohol and entertainment. The thing is: I don't see anything in Reflex I couldn't have before. If I want that style, I might as well play Warsow, which is free and pretty much superior to Reflex anyway, even visually. The movement is - due to it being another Quake engine game - more or less like in Quake, so nothing new on the movement front. Other games may have some fresh ideas movement-wise, maybe not, but basing another FPS on the Quake engine gives me simply the same. So what is Reflex going to offer that I can't have with Warsow/Quake Live/ insertrandomquakeenginegamehere already? Why is this sold as a distinct game when it just could be a mod for any of the dozens Quake engine games already out? Ninja edit: I really don't want to hate, but I kinda feel stupid for spending money on having a commercial Warsow shoved in my face. I mean I saw there are now even Defrag mods (or something) popping up. What's the novelty, are we just going to relive Quake history?Įdit 2: Apparently this is NOT a Quake engine game. I haven't really felt a difference, is it true, not Quake? Then why go for Quake-like movement? UT and Quake feel distinct enough, Reflex and Quake feel the same. Reflex is made by the developers of CPMA, a very popular competative mod for Quake 3, and they made Reflex to expand upon their work in CPMA. Besides building a new engine from the ground up, they're adding in many features that just wouldn't be possible in Vanilla Q3, such as a live map editor, replay editor, and more. I went into Reflex HOPING for a polished CPMA experience, and that's what the game is striving to be. Not to mention it wasn't even supposed to be in Early Access until months later, so the visuals largely consist of placeholders at this time.
